Our continuing expansion programme and business growth has resulted in a vacancy for an experienced and highly motivated Cell Biologist at our In Vitro Toxicology Department in Compiègne, France. Your key responsibilities will include implementing and internally validating established test methods, providing unique in vitro toxicology services to customers, using currently accepted alternative protocols, keeping abreast of developments and establishing research programs for the development and validation of new techniques, for the non-animal testing of a wide range of personal care and industrial raw materials and finished products. You will also produce reports and participate in the generation of publications and in the presentation of novel research at scientific meetings.
You will have a strong scientific background and at least five years post graduate experience within the field of alternatives testing and/or in vitro toxicology, with expertise in the areas of cell culture and development of in vitro models and safety testing. You should demonstrate in your application hands on experience in the areas described above, examples where you have shown initiative and innovation and indicate a clear knowledge and understanding of the use of alternatives testing methods.
Excellent communication, motivation and team building skills are essential together with the potential to grow at this exciting new facility. A good standard of French and English is required - other languages are an asset.
